I should begin by saying hello, as it is generally considered a nice way of greeting people. It was either that or, "My goodness don't you look wonderful today!" and as I have never seen any of you, I can't make that statement. That is not to say that you don't look wonderful today, as I'm sure you do. I just thought for my first post it would be nice to start off by saying hello.

The first thing you probably want to know about me is my name. I would give it to you, but then I'd have to kill you. So why don't you all just call me Rose? Yes, I know it sounds ubber girly, and that probably will turn many of you off, but I like the name, always have and always will.

I would talk about more in this post, such as favorite movie, or favorite book or something like that, so you can get to know me, but I want to save those topics for full length entries into this blog.

One thing you should probably know about this blog though, is that I will probably discuss my personal life, and I should warn you, it can sometimes be boring. I'm a college freshman, who's best friend lives in Texas, and who has no boyfriend to speak of (and has in fact, never had a boyfriend. How pathetic is that?) So, I'll probably just be talking about those basic subjects. I will however blog about my favorite things, as I mentioned before, and I will also talk about some current events, including the upcoming Presidential election. OBAMA '08!

So yeah, that's what this blog will be. Hopefully you don't all get too bored with it.
